As a Web Developer at Vista Furnishing, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our online presence. You will work closely with our marketing and design teams to create engaging and user-friendly web experiences that showcase our products and services. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, you will contribute to enhancing our brand visibility and driving online sales.
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain responsive websites and web applications.
- Translate design mockups and wireframes into clean and efficient code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Implement best practices for web development, including optimization for speed and SEO.
- Ensure compatibility and consistency across various browsers and devices.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure seamless user experience.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in web development.
Who you are:
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web development languages and frameworks.
- Experienced in responsive web design and development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in web development.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal is a plus.
